B2B marketplace of Metro/Makro for the HORECA sector. Since I joined, the platform has launched in 5 new countries.

• Search Experience team (2024 — present): own the full search journey on mobile and desktop: search bar, suggestions, filters, product cards and recommendation carousels.
• Angular → React migration: co-led the migration of the entire search experience from Angular to React / Next.js.
• Product Detail Page team (2022 — 2024): built and maintained the PDP in Angular.
• Improve the experience continuously through A/B testing.

Frontend developer building a web app embedded directly in OmniAccess's proprietary satellite internet hardware, where performance was a critical requirement.

• Embedded UI: the app ran on the company's own hardware device, providing network management, routing and connectivity controls over a satellite internet connection.
• Performance-first: satellite internet is inherently slow and expensive; minimising data transfer and keeping the UI responsive under constrained conditions was central to every decision.
• Web Workers: offloaded processing to Web Workers to avoid blocking the main thread under low-bandwidth conditions.
• Stack: Vue.js and vanilla JavaScript.

Return to the Operations team, continuing Angular development on internal tools for Ryanair's flight operations.

Full-stack developer in the Travel Circuits team at one of Spain's leading tour operators.

• Frontend: Angular with TypeScript and SASS, building and maintaining the Travel Circuits product.
• Backend complexity: Java 8 with Spring Boot, handling the data-intensive logic of a tour operator platform: large volumes of structured data (destinations, routes, availability, pricing, packages) orchestrated across multiple third-party provider integrations.
• Integration model: connecting and synchronising data from external providers is a defining challenge of the tour operator model; changes ripple across availability, pricing and booking flows at once.

Role ended due to the impact of COVID-19 on the travel industry, in Mallorca.

Part of the Operations team at one of Europe's largest low-cost airlines, building internal tools to replace manual processes in a company managing thousands of daily flights across the continent.

• 5 apps from scratch: built Angular applications to digitalize airline operations, some adopted by thousands of Ryanair employees company-wide.
• Impact: each tool shipped reduced manual work in a business where scale is everything: thousands of flights, crew and ground operations running daily.
• Tech stack: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS and ngrx as the core; GraphQL for data fetching.
• No dedicated UX: designed the interfaces ourselves with no designer on the team.
• CI/CD on AWS: managed deployments end-to-end on AWS with Docker.

Frontend developer in the Flight + Hotel team, working on the results listing and filters across 4 brands (eDreams, Go Voyages, Opodo, Travellink) from a shared codebase.

• Multi-brand theming: single CSS/JS codebase powering 4 brands, each with its own visual theme and per-brand interaction behaviours.
• A/B testing: shipped experiments end-to-end, from idea to analytics review, with a fail-fast, iterate-fast product mindset.
• Analytics: worked extensively with Google Analytics and session analysis tools to measure impact and guide decisions.
• Full-stack: primarily a frontend role, with significant Java backend contribution.
• Kanban: international team with strong agile culture and continuous delivery focus.

Sole web developer of an app that controlled a pharmacy robot for personalised medication packaging, owning the full web cycle from business requirements to production.

• End-to-end ownership: turned business needs into technical requirements, designed the UI (no dedicated designer) and built it.
• Architecture: refactored a monolithic codebase into reusable page-level modules, with a custom module system in vanilla JavaScript.
• Device integration: connected the web app over HTTP to the dispensing device, whose hardware and firmware were built by a colleague.
• Backend: built and maintained the server-side logic in PHP with CodeIgniter and MySQL.
• Automation: built a C# tool to automate internal processes.
